Richard Elliott

Richard Elliott is the Parish Music Director at Our Lay of Loretto, a position he has held since 1996. While at his post, he has conducted, played, planned and directed over 5000 masses for the parish. He has overseen the implementation of a new digital music system, trained in
Liturgy specifically as it pertains to music, attended annual pastoral musician conferences as well as developing cantors and musicians for the weekly masses.

Rich was the Artistic Director of the Willows Theatre Company in Concord and Martinez for 22 years and saw to its development into a major regional theatre company. He is comfortable working with professionals and volunteers alike and has always found his faith strengthened through the celebration of Music.

After nearly 30 years at OLL, Rich still loves his job and is grateful for the support and encouragement he gets from our Pastor and members of the congregation. He looks forward to many more years serving God at OLL and bringing meaningful and effective music to our
liturgies.
