Bob Olson Brown has served as an educator in both private and public schools for over 20 years. After graduating from high school in Spokane, Washington, where he was active in youth group at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, he went on to study Geology and Sociology at the University of Washington. After graduating with a B.A. in Sociology at U.W. he worked in social services where he saw the value of an education in lives of troubled youth and returned to the University of Washington to earn his Master in Teaching and teaching certificate.
Before taking the position of principal at Our Lady of Loretto, Bob spent the previous 11 years at St. Patrick School in Larkspur as a science teacher. In addition to his position as a science teacher, he served in many roles, from a mentor for new teachers, to the religion coordinator. He earned a M.A. in Education with a Concentration in Education Administration at San Francisco State University.
Bob is honored to be a part of the Our Lady of Loretto Community and continue building strong relationships with children, parents, and staff to move the mission of OLL school forward to its full potential.
