The Convent is in the back of the parking lot, across from the school and the lawn on the Virginia Avenue side of the Church Grounds.
During these monthly Youth Group Meetings we discuss Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body in the Convent on the second floor (unless otherwise noted). We reflect on and discus the meaning of being made man and woman; What are the reasons behind living a life of chastity; how to relate in a healthy way to the opposite sex and to our own sexuality through growing in positive chastity; and how Jesus, God and man, reveals the dignity and ultimate purpose of the our bodies, and the way we have been created as man and woman, and how this is revealed in God’s plan of love, reconciliation and union with the human race through Jesus Christ.
This is open to all teens of High Achool age.
Enter through the main entrance near Virginia Avenue, and Meet on the Second Floor on the first door to the right at the top of the stairs. Do not disturb other groups meeting in the Convent during this same time.
Date subject to change, for updates return here or call the Youth Ministry Office at 897-2171 x277.
