Confirmation Preparation

Welcome Confirmation students! We are about to embark on a remarkable journey of faith to explore the gifts of the Holy Spirit, that will guide, inspire, and shape our spiritual paths.

 
At Our Lady of Loretto Church we will be transitioning from a 3-year program to a two-year program starting in September of 2024. Our returning students that are entering their 3^rd year of confirmation will receive the Sacrament in May of 2025 along with our eighth-grade students. They will continue with their final year of preparation and be ready to receive the Sacrament. 
 
At OLL we want to prepare students both intellectually and spiritually to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation and to become lifelong disciple of Christ.
 
First year of preparation for Confirmation starts in 7^th Grade, culminating with the Sacrament of Confirmation at the end of 8^th Grade.
 
We welcome all students from Grades 7^th-12^th to our program. If you have been confirmed, we welcome you to enter our Youth Ministry Program that meets on Thursday nights from 7:00pm – 9:00pm, starting September 19, 2024
 
7^th Grade classes will meet Mondays from 7:00pm-8:30pm, in the Convent.
8^th – 12^th Grade classes will meet Thursdays from 7:00pm-8:30pm, in the Convent.
 
We are excited to begin our journey with a whole new curriculum from Ascension Press called Chosen: Your Journey to Confirmation. Chosen has been making an impact at parishes around the country for years, and with this newly refreshed and updated edition, it is better than ever!
